Header Bar - Present on every page. Contains the Menu icons on the left, page title in the center, and Comm/Checklist icons on the right.
Frequencies - Contains applicable frequencies and elevation for the airfield being viewed. Information will change for each airfield and may include other helpful frequencies such as ATC or weather services available. Normal Pattern/ELP Pattern Altitudes - Indicates appropriate direction and altitudes for patterns. Next-Page/Previous-Page Arrows - Used to advance or return between pages. Different selections by the user will change the follow-on page (NMOA, SMOA, Brewton, Jay, etc.). Initial Hot Spot - Pressing on this area will bring up a popover with information for that particular initial point. An example is shown below. Runway Selector - Select current runway in use at airfield. Will affect which initial tracks are shown. Additionally, the runway information will be carried over to the main airfield page. Pattern Entry Information Popovers - Touching one of these buttons displays an appropriate popover with amplifying information for the type of entry listed on the button. Navigation Selector - Allows user to select or change to a different airfield or course rules page. |
These popovers are shown by touching on the hot spot for the appropriate initial point. They provide the user with a picture of the selected initial point and a general description. It will, at a minimum, contain the runway and a line showing 4 miles from the runway threshold. Additional information such as a ground track, conflict information, or common landmarks may also be included.
